June in My Garden

I like to spend time everyday outside photographing. Growing flowers in my garden increases the odds that will happen. This June has been hot and dry, which has been both good and bad for flowers. I spend a lot of time watering.

I like the glow around the Zinnia. The Calendula that is just opening also has a glow, while the one that is dying back doesn’t. I added a texture to make┬áthe background richer.

This third photo is the final stage of the Clary Sage from my previous post. It looks like it should be in Pennsylvania Dutch country on the side of a barn.
